Design was done by the Japanese firm Lovers House. The game was released only in Japan. A version has also been released for mobile phones in Japan. 2) Gameplay: a) Basic The gameplay can be described as a cross between Picross and Minesweeper. The player is presented with an array of blank boxes, with numbered, colored indicators at the top of each column and the right of each row. An example puzzle is depicted below: |B5|B3|B5|B3|B5| | |R2| |R2| | |..|..|..|..|..|B5| | |..|..|..|..|..|B3|R2| |..|..|..|..|..|B5| | |..|..|..|..|..|B3|R2| |..|..|..|..|..|B5| | The first column has 5 blue boxes. As this column has only 5 total boxes, the player knows that all 5 boxes will be filled in. The same will be done for column 3 and 5. The updated puzzle is shown below: |B5|B3|B5|B3|B5| | |R2| |R2| | |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B5| | |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B3|R2| |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B5| | |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B3|R2| |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B5| | Rows 1, 3, and 5 all have 5 blue boxes, and a total of 5 boxes, so we can fill those in as well. The updated puzzle is shown below: |B5|B3|B5|B3|B5| | |R2| |R2| | |BB|BB|BB|BB|BB|B5| | |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B3|R2| |BB|BB|BB|BB|BB|B5| | |BB|..|BB|..|BB|B3|R2| |BB|BB|BB|BB|BB|B5| | The blue boxes in columns 2 and 4 have been solved, and now we are left with 2 red boxes to place, with 2 empty spaces in the column. Thus, we know that these two empty spaces are both red, and the puzzle has been solved: |B5|B3|B5|B3|B5| | |R2| |R2| | |BB|BB|BB|BB|BB|B5| | |BB|RR|BB|RR|BB|B3|R2| |BB|BB|BB|BB|BB|B5| | |BB|RR|BB|RR|BB|B3|R2| |BB|BB|BB|BB|BB|B5| | b) Advanced gameplay In later puzzles, the player will encounter multicolored, pulsing dots where the color indicators are.
